Former rugby international Surendra Jena tied nuptial knot with former Odisha woman footballer Gitanjali Sahu here at temple earlier on Sunday. Players and officials from both rugby and football fraternity of the city attended the marriage ceremony and the reception party.
Surendra, who represented the country on numerous occasions, is currently functioning as a rugby development officer the Indian Rugby Football Union. Gitanjali is now serving in the Odisha Police Department.
